THE TEAM
Production and Photography: Motofish Studios
Retouching: Motofish Studios
Client: Brooks Running
I trust Motofish season after season because they offer a unique combination of efficient scalability, collaborative partnership, and premium results. They’ve been able to quickly adapt and navigate complex and evolving workflows as our product lines expand and change in real time. Motofish can read between the lines and need no hand-holding, even with the most complicated post-production work. And at the end of the day, I can rely on Motofish to deliver best-in-class imagery on time, every time, which makes my job much easier.” - Dylan Kahler, Senior Creative Project Manager, Brooks Running
We have photographed Brooks Running footwear for many, many seasons. Consistency is key - new styles must match perfectly with older ones. We have created custom processes for Brooks that allow us to efficiently capture hundreds of SKU’s at a time or adapt to smaller SKU counts when those late breaking asks come in.
Motofish has a wealth of experience in shooting apparel on-figure and as a laydown. Our workflow enables efficient use of talent for overall shots, product details and shots where even though we’re in the studio there is a sense of motion in the product (hint: we used a treadmill).
In addition to traditional on-white e-commerce work at Motofish sometimes we can get our hands a little dirty with more complex setups. Sometimes grouping products together helps tell a better story and the images play well on social and in print.
In addition to production and photography Motofish has in-house retouching. We can manage large scale workflows and tight deadlines with ease. We also have a stable of trusted retouching partners that are available when we need to scale.
From colorways, to exceptions to compositing our retouching services can deliver accurate results when the samples may not be quite at productions specs.
